AION 2 Expedition Dungeons: Compare Modes Before You Queue

Compare four reported dungeon-and-mode examples, reward-cube costs and one equipment-level gate, then check the matching Global lobby before committing resources.

Quick answer

Choose the dungeon and its exact mode together. The captured Global fan database distinguishes Exploration, Conquest and Transcendence; a familiar map name alone does not identify the cost, party range or entry requirement. Use the comparison below as a planning reference and confirm the live reward and entry panels.

Compare the mode, not only the map

Gaming.tools is a fan database. The captured Urugugu Exploration and Fire Temple pages identify Global client 2.0.5.0 and an October 5 update. The other captured excerpts do not establish their footer version or update date. Neither a database player range nor an equipment-level field proves that a particular character can enter today.

Make a useful first queue decision

  1. Open the actual lobby and record the map, mode and difficulty. Do not compare an Exploration panel with a Conquest reward list.
  2. Read the entry condition in that same panel. If equipment level is the condition, record that value separately from Combat Power.
  3. Decide whether the run is for practice, a quest or a reward claim. Ask the party which outcome it expects before entering.
  4. For a reward run, inspect the shown cube ticket, remaining allowance and possible upgrade. Keep a screenshot or short note of the values before committing resources.
  5. Agree who will handle enemy attention, healing, positioning and recovery. A list of allowed players is not a mandatory class lineup.

A small budget comparison

Suppose your selected client panels match the reported 20-energy Exploration and 40-energy Conquest examples and you have 60 energy available. Two 40-energy claims would require 80, so that plan is short by 20. One 20 plus one 40 would fit 60. This only compares the displayed resource costs; it does not establish better rewards, clear speed, a reset allowance or eligibility.

Read the reset clock in its own timezone

The four database records label their weekly reset as Wednesday 16:00, server time, with separate easy, normal or hard dungeon groups. The snapshots do not define a UTC offset for that server clock. Keep the clock label intact and use the matching service notice or client timer before converting it to your local time.

What remains untested

No boss strategy, clear-time benchmark, loot probability, subscription allowance or reward delivery was independently tested. Database pool weights shown as unknown are kept unknown. This comparison does not recommend buying a carry or a membership.

What the check date means

The dated source records and this article’s wording were reviewed on October 7, 2026. “Last checked” means source and editorial review. No current game client, account, installation, purchase or reward delivery was independently tested. Older sources retain their original dates, service regions and version limits.

Common questions

Do all AION 2 dungeons cost 40 Odyle Energy?

No universal cost is established here. The captured Urugugu Exploration record shows 20, while the selected Conquest and Transcendence examples show 40. Check your actual mode and reward panel.

Does 1600 Combat Power unlock Deus Research Base?

The cited database field is a required equipment level of 1600 for its level 1 Transcendence record. It is not a 1600 Combat Power guarantee, and the current lobby takes priority.

When do these Expedition dungeons reset?

The source labels Wednesday 16:00 server time. A server UTC offset was not established in the captured records, so this article does not invent a local-time conversion.
