AION 2 Beta Tests and Trailers: Check the Date and Scope

Distinguish the special site’s September test windows from launch access and find video links through publisher pages.

Quick answer

The Global Launch Scale Test has ended and NC announced the live Global launch on October 5, 2026. Steam test participants must uninstall the Playtest app and download AION 2 separately; PURPLE participants need no further transition step. An old test or trailer is no longer today’s access route.

NC’s September 19 notice explicitly closes the test, lists September 30–October 4 as early access and October 5 as official launch. The October 5 live announcement confirms the commercial-launch step. Keep those dated records separate from older Japanese test-session and pre-download snippets.

Use a trailer for the question it can answer

  1. Open the publisher’s official video destination from its site or Steam page.
  2. Check the upload date and whether the video shows a test, regional build or launch presentation.
  3. Use written Global notices for installation, account links and event eligibility.
  4. For a combat/build decision, compare the demonstrated feature with the current service’s rules before following a recorded setup.
Video and test evidence

This update reviewed written publisher material and the Steam store, not complete video transcripts or a live gameplay recording. Historic September test snippets remain archived in the earlier research; they are not an open-beta schedule for October 7.

Source review

Publisher pages were checked on October 7, 2026. The dated evidence supports the instructions and comparisons here; no live client, login, installation, payment or reward delivery was tested. Older attributed reports retain their original dates.

What the check date means

The dated source records and this article’s wording were reviewed on October 7, 2026. “Last checked” means source and editorial review. No current game client, account, installation, purchase or reward delivery was independently tested. Older sources retain their original dates, service regions and version limits.
